The Harraden Family and friendly staff welcome you to the Ivey House Bed & Breakfast.

We offer two types of accommodations, including rooms in our luxurious poolside Inn and rooms in our Lodge which was a boarding house in the 1920's. Travelers enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and delicious meals at the Ghost Orchid Grill. Our guests receive a complimentary hot breakfast each morning during their stay.

With one phone call to our Adventure Desk, you can reserve your lodging, an adventure in the Everglades backcountry, or be completely outfitted for a paddle trip to explore the Everglades and 10,000 Islands areas. We provide day and overnite guided adventures via canoes, kayaks, and motorboats. Not to mention rentals of canoes/kayaks, camping equipment, and shuttle services for "do it yourself" explorers. Ivey House guests receive a 20% discount on rentals and day guided adventures.

Everglades City is surrounded by several scenic parks, including Everglades National Park, Big Cypress National Preserve, Collier-Seminole State Park, and Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve. We are located approximately eighty miles west of Miami, seventy miles southeast of Fort Myers, one hundred miles southwest of Fort Lauderdale and three hours from the Keys.
